Chief Executive Officer
Eric Lancaster
Eric Lancaster is the Chief Executive Officer of Ibis Innovative Solutions LLC, where he leads company strategy, growth, and client engagement across the defense and intelligence community. Eric founded Ibis to bring the discipline of strategic business intelligence together with the urgency of mission delivery, building a company solely focused on solving the federal government’s most challenging problems.
Eric spent more than a decade at ManTech International, having roles in vital business segments, including mergers and acquisitions, operations, and business development. His experience also includes roles on key contracts with agencies such as DARPA and DISA. He understands the defense market from the inside: the customers, the capture cycle, the math, and the moments that decide whether a program lives or dies.
Eric holds a Master of Science in Intelligence Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus (2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Florida Southern College (2015).

Director of Engineering
Dr. Mike Ward
Mike Ward is the Director of Engineering at Ibis Innovative Solutions LLC, where he sets the technical direction, owns delivery quality, and mentors the engineering practice. Mike brings two decades of Armed Forces service to the role, along with a career-long pattern of being called in when a program is stuck and of quietly walking it back from the edge.
Mike is known for rescuing projects that others have labeled unsalvageable. His approach is grounded in three principles: scalable systems that assume tomorrow’s load, not today’s; minimalist architecture that removes the parts there is no budget to maintain; and radical transparency with customers and teammates, because the alternative is expensive surprises. The work he values is where streamlined process meets a genuinely high-performing team and the roadmap starts to move.
Mike holds a Doctor of Engineering from the George Washington University. He has spent his career at the intersection of academic rigor and operational reality, and he brings both to every engagement Ibis takes on.
